Corera

Corera has been inhabited since Prehistoric times, as witnessed by Pre-Roman archaeological sites in the locality. It was also a stopping point for Celts and Romans, who built a road to link up with the Ebro valley at Varea (near Logroño).

The village’s main activities are directly related to agriculture, particularly vineyards, cereals, almonds and olives, as well as the occasional mushroom production company.

There is also an Olive Press Cooperative that produces 30,000 litres of oil per annum, and a ceramics factory.
