BODEGAS PATROCINIO is a progressive, quality focused winery situated in the heart of Rioja's top subzone, Rioja Alta. We can assure complete traceability from plot to bottle as well as full control over the whole production process.
Wines are exclusively produced from our own 525ha of vineyards surrounding the winery. Thanks to the favorable microclimatic conditions and a diversity of soils we are able to produce a wide range of quality wines expressing the essence of Rioja Alta. The current, IFS and BRC certified winery is equipped with state of the art technology. In our barrel cellar, wines are aged in 3000 oak barriques of renowned coopers. At the product level, Bodegas Patrocinio offers wines expressing Rioja Alta's elegance combined with appetizing fruit flavors. Our brands Señorío de Uñuela and Sancho Garcés, are one step ahead of the classical Rioja style. Our winemaker Maria’s range “Lágrimas de María” is a special edition coming with modern packaging and Braille on the labels.
ZINIO wines are made from 72ha carefully selected vineyards, the best of our total 525ha. These 20 to 80 years old vines are situated at altitudes of 450 to 590 meters asl. ZINIO is our most expressive and complex range: ZINIO Garnacha, ZINIO 200, ZINIO Vendimia Seleccionada, ZINIO Reserva and ZINIO Selección de Suelos.
Today, with these ranges the winery produces a large variety of different wines, thus being able to offer an appropriate product for nearly every Rioja wine consumer worldwide.
