“Bodegas Ysios, conceived by the prestigious architect Santiago Calatrava as a temple devoted to wine, was inaugurated in 2001 in Laguardia, in the Rioja Alavesa, becoming the Rioja's "author's winery".”
Old grape varieties, vineyard subdivision, vintage and manual destemming, very exclusive new woods and an exhaustive follow-up during the elaboration of the wine, are the axioms of a selective elaboration process with which we seek to reach the highest standards of quality and excellence for our wines.
One of the fundamental pillars of our cellar philosophy is that we are dedicated exclusively to the production of Reserva wines and unique and exclusive coupages.
The name Ysios is a particular tribute to Isis and Osiris, two Egyptian deities intimately linked to the world of wine.
